Identifying Negative Influences (Grade 4th to 9th)

Highlights various tendencies in children that require immediate recognition and intervention.

3000
Duration: 28 Days

Purpose:

In this stage of development, children undergo rapid physical, mental, and emotional changes, making them highly susceptible to both positive and negative influences from their surroundings. Given their immature minds, it's challenging to gauge the impact of daily events on children. Negative influences can detrimentally affect a child's progress, akin to a virus that requires prompt intervention to prevent lasting damage.

Outcome:

This assessment aims to empower parents to identify and quantify any negative influences affecting their children. Armed with this insight, parents can take proactive measures to address these issues and support their children effectively.

About the Activity:

  • Practical application of provided materials is key for optimal outcomes, as mere theoretical understanding may prove insufficient.
  • The program covers six distinct topics addressing common parental concerns for children in this age group.
  • Each topic includes guidance for parents and age-appropriate questions for children.
  • Parents are tasked with observing and guiding their children through their daily routines.
  • New topics will be introduced weekly, with corresponding materials provided in advance.
  • Participants are required to submit brief weekly reports of their observations.
  • Reports can be submitted in text, audio, or video format.
  • Comprehensive feedback and suggestions will be provided within 15 days of report submission.
  • Participants satisfied with the program can seek ongoing guidance as needed.

Lessons

  • Reluctance

Even easier things become difficult when you do it with reluctance. We get affected adversely by a widespread and eroding reluctance to take any stand on any values, moral, behavioral, or aesthetic. It's not the failure that holds us back but the reluctance to begin over again that causes us to stagnate.

  • Adamant Behavior

There is no one as blind as those who refuse to listen and change. Facts and evidence cannot be altered by any adamant behavior. Staying adamant about the opinion is wrong. Keep open to other peoples' voices. Stubborn minds stay away from knowledge and happiness. Some of our most adamant habits are products of our plasticity.

  • Cribbing Nature

Cribbing nature is like a virus. The more you feed it, the better is the climate for the virus, and your attitude becomes worse. Cribbing spreads leads to other complainers and can seed a complaint into the thoughts of others.

  • Carelessness

Carelessness does more harm than a want of knowledge. Don't use time and words carelessly - neither can be retrieved. Careful minds build durable buildings; careless minds build rotten buildings!

  • Habit To Lie

Once you have tasted the sin of lying, you could not help but lie and lie again. Lies have never made things easier, it just turns them nasty. The present could be covered up by lies, but the future is already messed up by it. Once you start telling a lie, you do not know how great a task you have undertaken. For you need to supplement one simple lie with twenty others to uphold it. The most shameful thing to be caught at is being caught lying.

  • Fear Factor

What you fear is what you must conquer. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Don’t let fear stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. Fear is a darkroom where negativities develop. The greatest mistake we make is we live with a constant fear that we will make one. Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less
