Self-Assessment For Parents | Exclusive Program
Self-assessment is one of the best methods that should be adapted to identify simple and tangible solutions to win over difficulties as well as to cultivate talents. If parents are worried and confused about the progress of their child or if they are looking out for ways to motivate their child’s talent, they must ideally undergo this self-assessment.
The upbringing of children is the prime most responsibility of every parent, other than shouldering professional, familial, and social responsibilities. To balance every sphere of their life, parents may get dissatisfied with the quality of life or may get confused and indecisive at times. During this phase, sometimes consulting seniors or discussing with friends or close relatives also may not be effective. At this juncture, self-assessment is the best tool that will guide them to some simple and tangible solutions that are very much within their own control. Preferably, parents dissatisfied with their child's progress, or are confused about their upbringing methods and despite trying all resources are not able to pinpoint the reasons behind their worry, must undergo this self-assessment test.
-This self-assessment consists of questions related to the various aspects of a parent’s approach to upbringing a child.
-After a successful subscription, the participants will receive a set of questions every week for the next 4 weeks. There will not be more than 18 questions per week.
-Parents are required to make use of every question to introspect and examine their approach to a particular aspect of parenting.
-In each set, there will be some questions that will be instrumental to draw a parent's attention to the important aspects of a child’s development that need serious attention and a major make-over or need of implementing the overlooked aspects. Such effective questions are bound to vary for every family.
-Parents can work out positive amendments to their approach on their own by using the realizations from this self-assessment, can take help from senior members of the family or they can call on us for further assistance/guidance.
-Parents can write or record the outcome of this self-assessment such as the important realizations and the amendments to be implemented in the approach to their child’s upbringing. They can share a copy with us for our reference and if they wish, can register with us for further customized suggestions.
-Parents should ideally select a suitable time every day when they can spend some peaceful time for themselves without any disturbance for this self-assessment.
-This self-assessment is spread over 4 weeks so that parents can have sufficient time to examine their views and approach to parenting.
-Ideally both the members should carry out this self-assessment on an individual basis first and then mutually discuss the outcome.
